About the Community We Serve

Lumberton is a vibrant family-oriented community of about 13,000. This lovely city nestled in southeast Texas near the Gulf Coast and Louisiana border is a hidden gem.

The foundation of the town lies in its strong family values. Proof of which is its low crime rate (58% lower than the national average), and the high standard of education, test scores in Lumberton public schools are 67% higher than the US average.

At Altus Lumberton Hospital, we pride ourselves on the quality of care we provide our patients. In keeping with the Lumberton way of life, at our facility there will never be a shortage of smiling faces and helping hands. Everyone working at our facility is proud to be an active member of this community, and we look forward to serving the people of Lumberton for many years to come.
